Getting Started
No developer, no commission platform, no complex setup. A step-by-step walkthrough for independent sports coaches.
Most independent coaches handle bookings the same way: a mix of text messages, DMs, Venmo requests, and calendar screenshots. It works until it doesn't — double bookings, unpaid lessons, students texting at 11pm to reschedule.
A dedicated booking page solves all of that. Students self-book into your available slots, pay upfront, and get an automatic confirmation. You stop being the scheduling coordinator for your own business.
Here's exactly how to set one up. The whole process takes about 10 minutes.
Sign up at coachcore.io with your email. No credit card required to start. You'll be asked to choose your subdomain — this becomes your permanent booking URL (yourname.coachcore.io). Pick something clean: your name, your name plus your sport, or your business name.
Add your name, bio, sport, and a profile photo. Your bio doesn't need to be long — two or three sentences covering your background and what kinds of students you work with is enough. This is what students see when they land on your booking page.
CoachCore uses Stripe Connect to route payments directly to your bank account. You'll go through Stripe's standard onboarding — name, address, SSN last four, bank account. Students pay at booking and the money goes straight to you. CoachCore never holds funds.
Create your lesson types — single sessions, packages, whatever you offer — and set your available hours. You can connect Google Calendar so your personal schedule blocks automatically. Students only see times you're actually free.
Your booking page is live. Put the link in your Instagram bio, text it to current students, add it to your email signature. Anyone with the link can book and pay without you being involved in the transaction.
A public booking page at yourname.coachcore.io where students can see your availability, book a session, and pay — without any back-and-forth. The page works on mobile, looks professional, and is yours to share anywhere.
When a student books, you get a notification. The payment goes directly to your connected bank account. You show up and coach. That's the whole loop.
CoachCore supports cash payment tracking alongside Stripe. You can mark a session as cash-paid and it logs against the student's account the same way a card payment would. Package credits work the same either way.
No. You can run both in parallel during the transition — keep existing students on the old platform while new bookings come through CoachCore. Most coaches migrate fully within a month once they see the difference in their payout.
CoachCore isn't a marketplace. There's no coach directory, no discovery feed, no algorithm surfacing your profile to strangers. If you're relying on a platform to find new students, you'll need to bring your own traffic — your social profiles, word of mouth, local presence.
If you already have students and just want a better way to manage bookings and get paid, it's the right fit. If you need a platform to build your client base from zero, you may want to use a marketplace alongside it.
