Arm action happens fast
A pitcher's arm moves through its path in a fraction of a second. Without stepping through it, a coach is describing something the athlete cannot see.
Baseball video analysis software
Baseball video analysis software lets a coach review an athlete's pitching or hitting video, stop on the frames that matter, mark them up, and send the athlete a finished explanation. In CoachCore the coach chooses every frame and draws every mark.
CoachCore does not detect or measure a motion for you. You choose the frames, place the marks, and make the call. The editor makes what you see easier to show.
Why baseball mechanics are hard to coach in text
A pitcher's arm moves through its path in a fraction of a second. Without stepping through it, a coach is describing something the athlete cannot see.
Leg lift, stride, foot strike, arm cock, release, and follow-through depend on each other. Reviewing them in order shows where the sequence changes.
Young players forget a verbal cue by the next bullpen. A marked-up clip with your voice on it can be replayed before the next session.

The sample is a swing clip. Step frame by frame, draw on a frame, freeze it, and see how the review would reach an athlete.
This is the real CoachCore video editor running on a sample clip. Saving, share links, and student sends are turned off in the sample.
What it should include
Review the windup or stretch and the full delivery from the side or from behind, and stop on the frames that matter for the athlete in front of you.
Freeze the arm at the point you are talking about and draw a line along the forearm or shoulders. Step forward a frame at a time to show how the arm gets there.
Walk through leg lift, stride, foot strike, arm cock, release, and finish in order, freezing each point so the athlete sees the sequence.
Review stance, load, stride, hand path, contact, and extension, and draw on the frame to show where the hands or head are.
Send the finished clip so the athlete can replay and scrub through it on their own phone and see the same frames you marked.
Compare a bullpen from this week with one from last month, side by side, trimmed to start at the same point.
A pitching example
A pitcher sends a side-view bullpen clip and asks why their arm feels late. You open it and slow the delivery down. You freeze at foot strike and draw a line along the shoulders, then step forward one frame at a time to the point where the arm reaches its high position, and mark it again.
Talking over the clip, you explain what you notice about the timing of the arm relative to the front foot. The athlete gets one video they can replay and scrub through, and can bring questions to the next session.
A hitting example
For a hitter, you freeze at the load and draw a vertical line to show head position, then step to the stride and to contact. Marking the same line on each frame shows whether the head stays where the athlete thinks it does.
You can put an earlier swing next to the current one in side-by-side mode and trim both to start at the load, so the athlete sees a change rather than hearing about one.
Facilities and teams
Baseball and softball training facilities often run many athletes through several coaches. The Facility plan lets each coach use the same editor under the facility's brand, next to bookable cages, memberships, and clinics.
How it works
The steps are the same in every sport. These show how they look on a baseball clip.
An athlete sends a bullpen or batting clip, or you load video from a session.
Move one frame at a time through the delivery or the swing and freeze the key points.
Draw a line or angle on the arm, shoulders, or head position. You place each mark.
Slow the clip and record your voice over what you marked.
Share a link or message it, and keep it with the athlete's record.
Editor tools
Walk through foot strike, arm cock, and release one frame at a time.
Draw along the forearm, shoulders, or back leg to show a position.
Hold the frame you are discussing and focus on the part of the picture that matters.
Slow the delivery and zoom in on the hand or the front foot.
Compare two bullpens or two swings, trimmed to the same starting point.
Explain the cue out loud so a young athlete hears it while watching the mark.
Connected platform
Video review is one part of running a baseball training business. In CoachCore it sits beside the rest.
Keep each athlete's video reviews with their record and notes.
Athletes and parents book lessons on your site, and a review can be applied to the lesson it came from.
Pro includes programs, so a mechanical focus can become drills and throwing or hitting work between sessions.
Pro includes progress tracking to record how an athlete develops over a season.
Send the review to the athlete or a parent from the editor.

FAQ
